Privacy Policy

This policy explains what EaseUse processes, how platform data is used, and what customers should know when instrumenting applications.

Last updated: May 3, 2026

Overview

EaseUse provides analytics, session replay, journey analysis, and related product diagnostics so teams can understand where digital experiences work and where they break.

This Privacy Policy explains what information EaseUse processes, how that information is used, and what responsibilities customers have when they instrument their applications.

Information Collected

EaseUse processes technical and behavioral data that customers send through SDKs, APIs, and platform integrations.

That data may include session events, screen views, taps, scrolls, replay-compatible interaction signals, device characteristics, app version, environment labels, and related application metadata.

  • Session and event data
  • Interaction and replay metadata
  • Device and application metadata
  • Dashboard account and workspace access records

Sensitive Data

EaseUse is not intended to intentionally collect personally identifiable information or regulated sensitive data unless separately configured and governed by the customer.

Customers should avoid sending user names, identifiers, credentials, freeform product notes, or other sensitive content unless they have put appropriate masking and compliance controls in place.

  • Customers are responsible for deciding what data is sent to EaseUse
  • Masking and minimization should be applied before sensitive values are transmitted
  • SDK-level controls and customer-side controls should both be used where appropriate

How Data Is Used

EaseUse uses platform data to provide analytics, replay reconstruction, product diagnostics, operational debugging, and service improvement.

We also use limited account and operational metadata to secure the service, monitor reliability, investigate misuse, and support customers during implementation and troubleshooting.

Data Storage

Event and session data may be stored in database-backed service infrastructure. Replay assets and related payloads may be stored in secure object storage where configured for the deployment.

EaseUse does not make customer data public by default. Access is restricted through application controls, infrastructure permissions, and operational access boundaries.

Data Retention

Retention may vary by deployment, customer configuration, and operational agreement. EaseUse supports retention controls and maintenance workflows that remove short-lived or high-volume data on a scheduled basis.

If you need a specific retention period, deletion workflow, or environment-specific policy, that should be configured during deployment or agreed in writing.

Security

EaseUse uses authentication controls, API keys, access restrictions, and encryption in transit to protect service access and customer data flows.

Security also depends on customer-side configuration, including responsible use of API keys, environment separation, least-privilege access, and masking of sensitive fields before ingestion.

Third Parties

EaseUse relies on infrastructure and hosting providers to operate the service, including database, hosting, and object storage providers where applicable.

We do not sell customer data. Third-party providers are used to deliver the service, not to commercialize customer analytics or replay data.

User Rights

Customers may request access, deletion, or export discussions for data they control, subject to contractual, legal, and operational constraints.

If you need a deletion request or access review, contact support@easeuse.dev and include relevant workspace or project information so the request can be evaluated.

Cookies

The EaseUse web dashboard may use cookies or similar browser storage mechanisms for authentication, session continuity, and product experience settings.

These mechanisms are used to operate the dashboard and maintain secure access rather than to sell or broadly syndicate user data.

Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or operational changes.

When the policy changes materially, the updated date on this page will be revised and, where appropriate, additional notice may be provided.
